Did You Serve in the U.S. Military?
Tell Your Medical Providers That You Are a Veteran.

Your duty in the US military may have been or seemed uneventful.  But then again, even though you didn’t get sick or wounded, you may have served at a time or in a location where you were exposed to hazardous material or unknown territorial illnesses. You may not even realize this was the case.

The Department of Veterans Affairs has determined that certain illnesses have been associated with military service. Please check the lists of illnesses and health concerns that have been identified with service during the campaigns listed. If you served during one or more of these periods of war and have any of the highlighted diseases, you may be eligible for compensation, benefits, and healthcare.
